Common Questions & Fixes

1 Phone does not detect an NFC tag or sticker

  • Ensure NFC is turned ON under: Android Settings > Connected devices > Connection preferences > NFC.
  • Use the in-app Antenna Hotspot Finder (in the Tools tab) to locate the exact millimeter position of your phone's NFC coil.
  • Remove magnetic car mounts or thick metal cases that shield the 13.56 MHz RF field.

2 "Out of Memory" warning when writing to NTAG213

NTAG213 tags provide 144 bytes of total user memory (137 bytes usable NDEF payload). If your contact vCard or custom URL exceeds this size, the gauge turns red. Use NTAG215 (492 usable bytes) or NTAG216 (868 usable bytes) for larger payloads.
